Dallas Makerspace
is like your big brother’s cool garage workshop that you’re not allowed to even
go in. There are laser cutters, and a full wood shop, 3D printers, an
electronic’s lab, and lots of cool people hanging out in a 6,000+ square foot
space.
But, here’s the best part: you can go in. And make all the things.
Members of Dallas Makerspace have regular meetings and they
also schedule classes. Coming up are robotics workshops and blacksmithing.
Yeah, blacksmithing. Some are open to the public, so just check on the calendar page and inquire.
We at Etsy Dallas love them because, like our all-volunteer
team, the makers at Dallas Makerspace are an all-volunteer 501(c)(3)
organization made up of local artists, engineers, makers, and
thinkers who enjoy making things and learning new skills.
We’re happy to have this group of enthusiastic makers on board
with us to sponsor The Jingle Bash. Stop by their table at the bash to learn
more!
